It is so good to be making primitives again for my collector friends. As some of you already know I have been having some major issues with my hands that required some major surgery. I was having some successful months last spring, but with too much over use I succeeded in holding back my recovery. It has been over 15 months since my last surgery and I believe I am finally as good as I am going to get at this point.
Up for your consideration is this adorable doll made from rag stuffed feed sack material. She is very hefty and has some extreme staining for that vintage aged look. She is wearing a dress of red checked cotton. Her apron and bonnet are made from some more feed sack material that is also stained and vintage looking.
I made her some hearts – 2 are from some striped coverlet material and one from some civil war inspired cotton. They are all rag stuffed and aged.
She would be a wonderful addition to your Valentine inspired prim collection. She is 23 inches tall head to toe. When sitting as shown she is 13 inches tall. One heart is 6 inches and the other two are 5 1/2 inches
I get loads of questions about pinning images from my site. I know my site has a copyright notice but feel free to pin as many pics as you like as long as they are still directed to my original content. I love seeing my creations on Pinterest – it just makes me want to create more and more
This is the end of my Valentine listings for this season. I will be back in February with some new Easter and Spring-time creations. If you follow my blog you will have access to advance notice before I list items on eBay. Thank you to all my faithful followers and thank you so much for all of your messages of support for my recovery. I feel so blessed.
Winter Blessings ~ Delilah
