Here is a new Autumn sewing collection inspired by these beautiful wool fabrics

I used some plaid wool in soft Autumn shades for the bird ~ I added some brown wool for his wings and attached them with blanket stitches

He has brown floss eyes and carries a small wool acorn from his beak. Th bird sits atop an old hog scraper. He is 7 and 3/4 inches tall and 8 inches wide

I made this cute little acorn pin keep from camel colored wool with a brown plaid wool for the cap. It is 3 inches in length and matches the small acorn carried by the bird. The decorative feather stitching on both acorns is done in brown pearl cotton

The sewing roll is done in a combination of wool and cotton fabrics ~ The plaid fabric is heavy cotton and I used it on the front and back facing and the acorn leaves that are appliqued to the middle pocket

~All other fabrics used are wool~

“Oh, The Joys of Autumn” is brown floss done in an outline stitch. I also used more feather stitching, blanket stitching and embroidery stitches to complete the project

The pumpkins, stems and crow on the pockets are all hand appliqued wool

The sewing roll folds up and has a button closure. It is 13 inches long and 5 and 3/4 inches wide. This is a Prim*by*Nature original and will not be repeated so please bid early

~ Sorry I cannot accept special orders ~
