I lovingly created these old gals from a wonderful pattern by Sassafras Hill Primitives and I hope you love the way they turned out. I made these gals from natural dyed and distressed cotton for a really soft look and feel. I needlefelted some whisps of natural brown sheep’s wool for their hair. They are supported by an old wooden spool and tied off with a piece of black and white homespun fabric.

They have extreme prim pinch stitched faces and cute little pointy hats. Their aged tag has a black cat inside a Jack-O-Lantern which I hand-colored. I added some preserved Sweet Annie and a small twig broom to finish

These stately gals stand a full 20 1/2 inches tall by 12 inches wide. Imagine keeping them in your prim kitchen throughout the fall season or wherever you need a touch of wicked whimsy. She is a Sassafras Hill pattern
