I started with a large oval wreath. I like oval wreath but they are so hard to find in the right size like this. Fall itself is such a beautifully rustic season I wanted to do a wreath to capture the beauty of the season.

I made this adorable crow from painted and stained cotton and sanded him for a more prim look. I nestled him among 2 large sunflowers with real twigs for stems.

I made the sunflowers out of painted and stained cotton and added some leaves made from some small green checked cotton.

I tucked in bunches of my favorites – preserved Sweet Annie and orange pip berries. I finished it off with a primitive “Autumn Greetings” tag and tied the stems together with some black and white cotton check. This display measures approximately 15 inches wide by 27 inches tall as shown
